Default Svx 3.3 swap into legacy

Hi all, i know this has been discussed in the past. I've spent several hours a day for the last week searching. I haven't really come up with any solid information just yet.
I've seen the picture of the 3.3 H6 in the older legacy with a supercharger on it. So with this in mind i assume it will fit. The picture is very vague and only shows it from the side view.
What i need to know is this:
1. will the motor fit without cutting the front radiator support brace?
2. Will there be enough room to access the spark plugs without lifting/lowering the engine?
3. Will the 3.3 use the 2.2 engine mount locations?
4. How much wirring is involved with this project and which is the best way to go ( installing the complete svx harness with gauge cluster or spiling one into the other?)
My car is a 96 legacy sedan. I would like to keep this thread on topic. If you're reply is an opion of if it would fit or not please state that .
Any other info would be greatly appreciated!
Brent

get in touch with Outback2.5HO. He's attempting to put an EG33 into an Outback. He's already got the engine and ECU. Haven't seen an update from him in quite awhile though.

Would you like to talk with one of the guys that runs the shop where that pic came from?

Email al@torquechip.com

I'm not sure if he can give you all the details you are asking, but he'd be the best place to ask since the shop he's working at did it.

He may refer you to one of the guys at www.pdmturbos.com Since that is the shop he's working at. Al mainly does the electrical stuff.

1. ?
2. Should be
3. Yes

Regarding question #2, I believe the SVX has holes in the rails to access some of the plugs, so that may be a BIG issue!

Yeah, the only thing i'm REALLY concerned about is the spark plugs. The rest is a given with any engine swap but i don't wanna have to pull the motor just to change plugs!
I'll give al a call as i've talked to him before concerning my turbo 2.2 motor.
Thanks everyone, keep the comments comming!

Oh yeah, i just bid on a 95 svx with 60k miles on the clock at a local salvage pool...hopefully i'll get it! If i don't i know a guy that has a 3.3 just sitting on a stand waiting for me to check what fits and what doesn't. With any luck maybe he'll let me use his shop complete with lifts/airtools and all the subaru manuals one could want . Hopefully i'm not jinxing myself with any of this!
