Default Has anybody installed a Kartboy AND STi short shifter?

#1) Can this be done? #2) How does it feel?

1) Don't have personal experience, but i dont see any reason this wouldn't work

2) This would only change how far the shifter travels, no change in 'notchiness,' noise, or anything like that. The bushings on the sti shift linkage is the only thing that would potentially change these (though i haven't noticed any difference since i installed mine)

I've put this out there before, but I have an ILP short throw, and it is definately shorter than the STI or Kartboy, or Cobb short throws. It is $100 for shifter and bushings. Best $100 I have spent yet on the car!

Sorry, I should have posted this before.

I spoke to Tom at Kartboy, and he said it can be done by using the pre-'02 Kartboy Short Shifter.

I just haven't done it yet.
