just remove it, you can remove the paint on the back of the badge, I used a light grade sand paper. Then just paint it any color of your choice and some mounting/double sided tape and your done.

uh.. sandpaper is the hard way.. try nail polish remover.. it turns the stuff to goo and then you scrape it off.. much easier.
