Arrow FS locally: Sweet JDM WRX seats! Same as the STI ones but affordable! Picks are up!

Posted this in private for sale, but thought I'd put it here as well. Copied and pasted:

I JUST bought these like two weeks ago and they've only been in my car for three days. I really love them but, alas, I am a broke college student and really couldn't afford to buy them in the first place (plus I got screwed out of mad $$$ by SXPi, which is another story and another thread in SCIC)... so here they are back for sale

These come from a Japanese GC8 WRX and will bolt into just about any US Subaru. They are a very dark gray fabric with light gray suede inserts on the side bolsters, between-the-shoulder area, and sides of the hips, just like the STI V6 ones have the red areas. These are identical to the STI seats, they just lack the STI badges and they're a different color. Luckily, you can save $600 if you can live with that! They are VERY comfortable, and offer insane amounts of support in the turns. They are actually a fair bit more comfortable to me than my stock 98 Legacy GT seats, but the support offered is worlds of improvement. There is some wear on the door-side suede insert on each seat where you kind of slide into and out of them, with a little more on the passenger-side seat because it's the driver's one in Japan and was probably used more often. It's pretty minimal and could, if you insisted on perfection, be easily repaired by an upholstery shop. It's fairly minimal though, but I gotta mention it. I took a pic of it too...

I had a friend snap some digital pics of them today, and will have them up on here tomorrow (once I can get him to sit down and actually e-mail them to me, that lazy bum), I just wanted to get movin' on this cuz the $$$ is tight right now.

I prefer local Bay Area pick up, since shipping these guys would be a pain in the butt. I do like driving though, and would be willing to meet someone half way up to an hour or so from here cuz I'm nice like that .

I am looking for $700 or best offer for these bad boys. STI ones go for $1200 or so... not too shabby. I am in need of $$$ right now, so I will welcome and entertain any offers that aren't retarded

If you have any questions please feel free to shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] or post here! I tend to miss PM's, but I check my e-mail pretty often. Thanks for looking.

This picture is a close up of the wear I mentioned on the suede part where you kinda slide in and out. This is the passenger side, the one which had the most use....

Ouch! I'll keep you in mind if the rest of the world burns down though There's been a ton of interest already, but only a couple of people who are even semi-local! I'd rather go local for $625 than cross-country for $725.....

I do appreciate the offer though, RimRockaz!
