Default Info on STI engine/tranny mounts

Anyone here have any info on these. For the people who have them installed, can you give me your impression on how they either help or hurt the car, Ive been thinking on getting them real soon, but wanna make sure its worth it, thanks

Thumbs up Get them!!!

Do a search for "STi Engine and Tranny Mounts" or look in the Car Parts Review section as there is a thread in there somewhere. Doesn't really hurt the car. You will feel a difference when you start your car. It doesn't shake as much. With that comes the possibility of having more rattles in your car too, but I think everyone will agree that it's worth it. Power is directed to the ground for sure and the butt-dyno will tell you the same. Tranny mount wasn't as noticeable, but still aowrthy mod as it's a easier piece to install. Very worth the money IMHO.

Here's the thread in the Car Parts section:

ive had the engine mounts done and im quite happy with em,,,, now no hesitation when u hit the gas,, throttle response seems more direct,, great mod,, only downside is slight vibration inside the car since the engine is held more stiffly on,, u can feel the idle in your seat now,,,, very good mod,, quite underated
