Unhappy Bad accident; will it ever be the same??

Well, the flat bed just took my wrx to the auto repair shop. I went around a corner to fast in wet weather and slid my front left wheel over a curb. I thought i had blown the tire but the tire was fine. The wheel itself was pushed so far back into the wheel well that it wouldnt turn at all. The body panels dont line up any more. I think the axle is broke, the tie rods and strut is definately shot. Just about every part of the suspension in the left front side looks to be damaged.
I am wondering if fixed correctly, will the car drive like it did before. My family has an accord the got in a wreck and now it wont stay aligned. My wrx has just under 10,000 miles and i would hate to think it wont drive like it did previously. I also have decided to take it to a shop i have brought other vehicles to before, opposed to bringing it to the dealer. (Eddie Accardi in S. FL) Do u guys think I should stay away from the dealers. These people did not treat us well when i purchased the car.
Please give me some feedback; I am very worried and upset!

Josh

I second that...... stay away from dealers. They are always shoddy at best! Except for Mastro, but I can't even be sure about their body shop.

Your best bet is to go where you know they do good work.

Sorry about your car man.

I basically did the same thing to my RS, and the dealer up here in Atlanta did an excellent job with it....of course it did take three weeks, but, they got it done right....they changed out EVERYTHING except the spring. she drives as good as she did when she was new...nothing was left untouched for fear of being broken....I'm sure half the crap was ok, but still, was good to know they did it right...good luck with everything...it will work out and be ok
