Post GodSpeed...

Some of you may have read my other post asking about places to get a set of ADVAN rims...

Well, they are finally on order... It was a toss-up between a couple different vendors:

1 - Auto Imaging
2 - GodSpeed
3 - Takakaira

... and the vendor I went with was GodSpeed... Dan was able to get back to me with pricing and availability and was able to answer any questions (no matter how stupid) that I had...

Reasons why I didn't go with the others... well, they were all seemed to be pretty comparable in price but dealing with an overseas company may cause some headache if anything were wrong with the shipping or order... I realize that the guys at AutoImaging are busy I would have rather kept business local, but no matter how hard I tried, they never got back to me on pricing...

So, I ordered my ADVAN Model 7's in Gunmetallic - 18x7.5 and a set of Tein GC-8's through GodSpeed... if you are looking for anything or just information... ask Dan and he will get it to you.

Oh, there are some people looking for wheel weights. Here is a link...

http://www.fortunecity.com/silversto...elweights.html

Hopefully I will be picking my car up on Monday and my wheels and suspension should follow within a couple of weeks...

Thanks to Scott Putnam (I know you would do a search, Scott!) up at Morries - good guy and knows his stuff.

One last thing... what kind of discount are we supposed to get through Tire Rack??? I called and told em I was a member and the price they quoted was pretty much list price for a set of AVS Sports... wassup with that???

Sorry for rambling on, just thought some of you might like to know...

Default woooohoooo!

Godspeed rocks! Dan is just great to work with and really knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

I picked up my blitz sbc-id and Volks from him. Fantastic customer service. I just can't say enough good stuff... If I had any more money I'd be making him richer too.

How's about an STi 6-speed, complete, shipped to your door? WOW.

Shameless website plug:

godspeed.hack.net

Cheers!

Hey, Ian, have you tried calling or emailing Dan? He was always very prompt when I called or emailed. I ordered some Tein springs from him, which he was getting through TRi Tuning, they stiffed him. Even so, when I asked for a refund, I got it the same day. He may well have had to order your coilovers from Japan, 3 weeks is not very long if they are coming from Japan. Bottom line, call / email Dan, he is a great guy and will get back to you ASAP.

Dont worry about it. I ordered the Tein RA's from god a few weeks ago, and they came in as expected. I'd just contact Dan and see whatsup. But dont worry about being stiffed.

I sent him an email yesterday for a part I have had a really hard time finding and he wrote me back in 5 minutes and said he had it in stock. I told him I wanted it, via email, and 3 minutes later he responded with the price, with shipping. I will be sening him the money today and I will definately report about how fast the product gets here, and I am sure it will be very fast!

Great job so far!!!

Anyone know what is happening with GodSpeed.
I just went to their website, and there is a note
that they are temporarily shutdown! No phone
calls or emails.

I'm still waiting for my Defi order!

Where has God gone?

He left a notice on clubwrx.net, so not to worry too much guys.

If you (Dan) happen to read this, good luck and I hope everything works out OK for you.

To everyone else, you can't imagine how hard it was for me to avoid the cheesy pun of using the term "godspeed."

Talking Godspeed

Let me just say that Dan is the man all the way.

I have been talking to Dan lately about an Exhaust (Blitz Touring Spec) and he was awesome with the info. Emailed me back quick and sometimes late at night not during business hours.

I have had some bad luck with a certain vendor (Vivid) taking my money and not sending me my product so I asked Dan if I could send him 75% of the money and the rest when I recieved the tracking number. He agreed. Awesome and understanding.

Thanks Dan

I have bought a Godspeed Uppipe and Downpipe and I think his products are awesome

Me and my GF ordered a UTEC computer for her WRX on tuesday I believe, it arrived today. Service was super friendly.

I called back today after receiving it to ask a few questions. It turns out they preloaded all the maps (1-4) for me, and answered a BUNCH of wrx questions for me. Explained how to use a bunch of features on the utec and discussed a bit of tunning theory with me.

I was very impressed and WILL buy from again for my next purchuse, I suggest you also shop there!
