You will have to shave off a lot of weight to come close...

Will I?

I mean, I know the GC8's weigh about 300lbs less, but IF I go with less than 1/4 tank of gas, remove the jack and accessories, and with the extra few HP from the pro-ecm I think its possible.

I know its possible with the 30 shot of Nitrous I have, but im betting with the 55-60 wet shot im building up it should be very possible to be in the 14.5 range or less.

Well, this is a best case scenario, normally one needs cams in addition to these mods to break into the 14s. He had to have the perfect weather, perfect launch, etc..

the pdm intake will be the difference... I don't think the proECM will overcome the difference b/t the pdm and cobb intake... But hey, go out there and give it a whirl...

Question same 'ol question...

Sidewayz... what method of launching did you use?

4500rpm, slip clutch till moving - dump and stab?

I need to cut better 60' times!! I think I can trim 0.2sec off of it if I could do it right! which means following the guys who do it BEST - - (this means you)

I bring the rpms up to about 3,500. with a couple of stabs. so the r's don't drop past 3,500 kinda *brap* brap*brap*, as the lights are going, orange orange, orange, GO green as the clutch pedal is coming up I lay full throttle, kida slipping her a bit but still "dumping" it....then go.
It bogs a hair, the rpms drop to about 2,800 when she bogs.
I will try to video tape my tach, I still have my last run on memory recall.
Enjoy

Note: He has the PDM with a 3" conversion, not just the PDM. Its closer in capability to the COBB then most intakes.

But I think DDman will bust out the nitrous if he gets frustrated and cant break into 14's
