Default Front strut bar without moving ac line??

Is there a front strut tower bar out there that doesnt require moving the damn AC line?? I have the Whiteline and it sucks ass, I dont want to jack the AC line up.

i know this doesnt answer your question exactly but i have the cusco bar and i dont htink you have to worry about messing up the ac line. your just relocating it down a little. yeah you have to bend it but it sounds a lot worse than it is! You barely have to move it that much, and i do not believe this slight movement has an effect on the integrity of the line. Sorry but i dont know any bars that completely clear the line.

Ive seen it with the Whiteline bar, and the AC line looks like crap. I mean it looks all bent and whacked out. The symmetry of the engine bay is compromised I feel when looking at it. I may just get the Cusco ver. II underbrace. It will probably to a better job of keeping the front stiff than a strut bar.

I will try to get you the pics tomorrow...I installed the Cusco strut tower bar last fall. I had to bend the A/C line a little bit. I was quite worried about it before doing it, but if you bend it slowly and just a little bit, everything will fit. You probably won't even notice that the A/C line is moved at all after it is done.

Those pics are one my home computer...will upload them either tonight or tomorrow.

Default Sti replica bar

I installed an Sti replica bar. I removed the A/C bracket attached to the fire wall, then moved it down so the bracket was just attached with one bolt. This moves the line down about an inch. With a LITTLE bending (really hardly any), the Sti bar fits over the A/C line quite easily. I think this is a better set up than the Whiteline bar which goes under the A/C line. I can email you install pics if you want.

I forgot to mention this. The Cusco comes with a bracket to move the driver side of the A/C line down about and inch. And no it should not hit or rub the A/C line when you are done. Here are the pics...hope they help. Do like I did and get some balls and Just Do It!

Before anyone asks, that is the COBB intake.

If you have any other questions, just let me know.
