Post Are most suspension pieces between coupes and wagons interchangeable?(L, RS, L Wagon)

Thinking about getting an L wagon as a sleeper... but I want to upgrade the suspension and all and was wondering if all the upgrades available for the RS and coupes will work on the wagons!

Thanks,
KaZ

Yes, but wagons come stock with stiffer rear springs than their sedan counterparts since they carry a bit more weight back there.

It becomes moot with performance springs, IMHO.

I've swapped 98 RS suspension to a 93 L wagon. (no rear swaybar thought) I just took v5 struts w/ 5zigens off of my 99 L wagon. Worked fine although low, there was no sag or rub.

Moot (adj): Of no practical importance; irrelevant

We did RS to 93 L wagon too, no sag, nice drop and great handling over stock. No rear swaybar though, you'd need the lower control arms and sway bar mounts, end links etc off of a newer 2.2 or 2.0 liter outback wagon or somthing.
It is a sleeper too, that thing is quick in the turns, drives like an old Civic Si with awd..
