Just wondering if Goodridge brake lines for the WRX/RS will also fit the OB? Subie Gal's got a good offer on them, but Tire Rack is selling the "Goodridge G-Stop" brake lines, which they say is specifically for the OB. Can anyone help?? The difference is about $30, so it's considerable...

Kilrwagn,
from what I hear, the lines will fit. SubieGal fit them on her Legacy, and I've heard of other owners doing the same w/o major issues. I'm waiting for her to get back to me, and then they'll be put in at the central NJ installfest on the 26th. Can't wait!! ![]() |

On some of the kits the lines stretched too much due to the taller struts on the outback. If they don't work, send 'em back.

Okay, here's the WORD
on SS brake lines on Outbacks...all of them will work length-wise. In terms of fitment, a good brake mechanic should be able to help you get them on. I ended up going with a set of WRX lines from Goodridge, and Rich from Precision Tuning in Brick, NJ (right next to Nino) put them on for me. Said something about using the clip from the fronts for the rears, I just smiled and nodded! ![]() |
