Default Skidplate clear Brullen headers?

I'm wondering if anyone has Brullen headers, specifically for a MY02 but it doesn't really matter, and has a skidplate. I'm wondering if my skidplate will clear it, and if it does clear it would it be resting against the pipes? I don't think I would want that..

I've got the MRT headers, and a rumblesoft skidplate, and it clears. Doesn't exactly pertain to your setup, but it's proof of concept. A skid plate isnt' too tough to put on, so, maybe somone wouldn't mind test fittin their skidplate at a garage day or something.

My Primitive skidplate does not clear the Brullen headers. However, I'm sure with some heating and beating I can make something work. It's just a matter of creating the jig so I can keep the mounting holes in the same place.

Yet another project that is sitting around. I'm not sure about the rumblesoft, though it'd be great to know. I might try to sell the Primitive one then and pick up a rumblesoft in that case. Especially since I saw how well it works last week.

Yep I've got a Rumblesoft, I'm putting it on Saturday. Hopefully it clears the Brullen. The stock um, plasti-plate thing doesn't come close to touching the headers, so it should fit. I was wondering if I had some good proof because I'd be annoyed at my headers if it didn't clear.

awww...ya didnt buy a GooseMan plate?

the brullen headers are REALLY weird, and they hang down low.

I know on a MY02+ WRX, my skidplate (which is essentially flat) fits without a problem, but it barely clears the oilpan of the WRX engine (the stock WRX headers are higher up, so they dont pose a problem).

My same skidplate can be used on MY02 2.5L Imprezas, but they require a spacer at the rear to drop the plate about 1.5" (to clear the bulky headers).

I'd assume on a MY02 2.5RS, you'd probably need some sort of spacer back there...maybe in the front too. Those headers hang low.
