Default New CO Vendor with custom carbon fiber

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I am John from Qvelocity. We are currently up in Estes Park (in 4 feet of snow) , but we are planning to move our shop down to denver in April. We make custom composites for any car or application. We currently have a group buy going, in the vendor gb section. We have a bunch more molds made, but we haven't finished the rest of the parts cause our WRX can't get in the garage door with the snow in the way . I am looking for anybody with a gc8, who is looking for carbon parts for it. We can do anything custom, so if any WRX owners want something, we can do that too. We have had a bunch of people say: I want x part, and I would buy it if you made it, but as a custom fabricator I would be out of business if I made every part without a confirmed order. So, If anybody has been looking for a certain part, give me a response. Or if you know other car guys who are serious about getting some carbon on their car, send em here. I'll give an extra discount to rmic guys.
Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you guys out at Bandi and autox this year, John

Hi John!

Give Troy or me a call at the dealership (Flatirons in Boulder). I'm sure we'd be interested in doing some parts. I personally have one the most modified (if not the most) GC8 coupe in Colorado and definitely have been looking for a good carbon fabricator. Looking forward to speaking to you.

Dolphin, what type of mylar were you using? Just the clear thick stuff? I have used that as is with minimal sticking, any type of wax ( turtle wax to actual mold release) should do the trick. Also, depending on what type of epoxy you use, you should wait at least 12 hours in 60-70 degree temps.

Bret, I'll call you today.

Thanks,
John

I like the way you clarified that as "coupe"

Have you seen the work PDM is doing on my motor and tranny? I hope it was worth the past 3.5 months without my car

Peace!

Dolphin...get full coverage with it , and buff it off like waxing your car, and squeegee off the excess resin. Thanks, John

Q,

I'm not sure if you've had anyone ask about carbon side skirts but I thought I'd throw that out there. I'm interested in a set.

I saw this post and thought I'd give you a heads up on it. Check out: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=334779

I'm kinda interested in how this would look, but I'll be honest and say that I dont think the chrome bug eye's look that bad (in my eyes).

Justdsm, we are looking to make the skirts a little later on this spring, unless we get an order for them sooner. We can prototype something in about a week. Thanks for the link, John
