Default Apexi AVCR install w/unichip

I'm about to install the AVCR. Anyone done this with a unichip. I've got all the pin outs, I just need to know if it should go after the stock ecu or after the unichip. Also, where is the second source for boost readings. I been using the hose off the bov, but it's getting pretty crowded. I might need a picture, cuz I'm pretty dumb. Thanks all.

to answer my own question. I installed the AVCR to the unichip harness and it worked fine, still dunno if it will work connected to the stock ecu harness with the piggy back installed. if it works both ways, the only draw back I see is if I want to get my unichip reflashed, I will lose my AVCR while my chip is away.

i installed an avc-r before putting in a utec (should be same install) and haven't had probs since.

one other question...where did you get the wiring diagram for the unichip? i'm not sure, but the utec manual only has the basic hookups. should i just match the factory ecu hookups to the utec. i have those wires all taped up and it would be a pain to trace them back. so basically, i need the 12v/ign/ground/tacho signal on the utec.

any ideas? thanks!

I don't have a UTEC. I have a unichip. I think the wiring is the same though. I used the same wiring diagram for the stock ecu and all seems to work fine except for Inj. duty. Inj duty reads right around 49% all the time no matter how much throttle I give. Anyone no anything about this? I checked the wiring and all seems good.

well, the inj. duty cycle should be around 50% except under heavy load in 3rd gear, usually...

and bout the wiring diagram...you looked at the unichip and then found the wire that plugged into it, correct? not looking at the wiring harness itself...

thanks!
