Default Wierd engine sound

ok guys i have a impreza rs intake and borla headers, stock cat, and custom catback and i have an automatic theres the background info.. now i have had 2 different stock cats both with about same mileage on but it was bec i sold my other bec i had a mrt exhaust that didnt fit then i got tired of it and sold the mrt and now i have another used cat

now the problem when im in a low gear like the shifter is in first and i gun it right near redline i hear mettalic sounds coming from either my headers or my cat or my heads dunno which....
please tell me its ok

I had same problem
especially when releasing gas at high RPMs I heard same sound (oh shEEt, I finally screwed my tranny - thought I....)
but what it was is the heatshield that touches the pipes and therefore producing this weird sound...it is just bend so either jack up your car and straighten it yourself or have dealer fix it, but it's a 5 minute job so I suggest DIY
you'll see it when you lift the car....I was quessing how did I manage to do that, my thought is owning deep snowy parking lots

Just remove your heatshields..
