Question ECU Reset?

I know that when switching to and aftermarket intake you reset the ECu as described on imprezars.com. Would it be benefit more to do the reset when swapping and exhaust and intake together? I am getting my intake in a few weeks and exhaust in a few more, I am wondering if I should wait to install them together?
