Where to go...

Hey, just wondering me and a friend are coming up just for this weekend, wondering places to check out, clubs/bars, listen to real hip hop, jazzy but trendy, modern R&B, downtempo stuff... maybe good dancing, cute girls- lots of them, good/cheapish places to grab a bite, places to shop- urban outfitters type clothes, and where all the new WRX's are so maybe we can take a peek. I have been up their before but it has been a long while, me and my friends used to hit up a couple places on Richards, and a place in gastown- I think thats the area. So yeah, suggestions... leaving Seattle in a couple hours, should ahve asked sooner, but oh well. Thanks, peace ~Erick

Anyways, for club's I'd hit up the ones along Richards..try Richards on Richards, Atlantis downtown is pretty decent...Club Viva is your only chance if you go to Richmond..

If your going in a few hours, why don't you have dinner with us? The thread above we're having a dinner at 6:30pm and it'd be gerat if you could drop by.

Places to shop? Urban wear? perfect. You can go down Robson but you won't find too much, mostly "nicer" clothes..if you go further down granville beside the bus stops in downtown..there is a store..I forgot their name..its in blue and white and looks like sperm moving...its a real real real cool store...

Or go to Metrotown..they suusally have most of the better stuff...from Phat Farm, Enyce, Triple 5 Soul, Sean John, so forth.

Yeah,

hit robson street, there is are cool shops and loads of eye candy.

As for clubs and what not, there is shine in gastown, but I'm not sure of what type of music they play. I'm a fan of the lotus lounge or sonar.

Granville street has a bunch of cool pubs if you're looking for an afternoon pint.

have fun and it looks like you have the weather on your side.

right on, thanks everyone for the input. That would have rocked to go meet some of you, but since we are just about to leave that doesn't look like it is going to work out. I checked out the boarder cams and it looks pretty easy going so hope that isnt' a pain. Well maybe see some of you out and about. I think we might go to Studio 54, Kits, and/or Atlantis. If you see us, it will be, tall mixed white/filipino guy, 6 foot tall, and my 5'5'' asian... filipino looking, but not friend. I know not specific, but we will be out haunting around. Wahoo!! D00d! Pinoy here checking in! If you're looking for some Filipino stuff, Goldilocks is on Broadway and Fir has some good bread stuff and also serves filipino foods, and there's a cool Pinoy grocery shop on Main and 16th called Rice and Shine

Purple Onion, Legends, Sonar are good clubs to hit, don't bother with Viva unless you like remixed chinese music...Atlantis is pretty packed on saturdays (lots of chicks though!)
