Anyone using/used kaaz gears

What ratio? How much power you running? How would you rate them for the 1/4 mile or auto-x? What's the max speed in each gear? What rpm for 75 mph in 5th? Durability?

I have an 02 WRX with an SR30 and fmic (plus STi injectors and a Walbro). A daily driver, it's shooting for 12's in the 1/4 but will see much more time in local auto-x.

I was in contact with one of the Aussie guys on this board regarding the gearset and he was very pleased with it. I was looking into getting it a few months ago but decided to go with a 6-speed instead. Mike Shields at SPD Tuning is using the Kaaz gearset as well. Here are the ratios:

1st: 3.167
2nd: 2.267
3rd: 1.667
4th: 1.250
5th: 0.964

As you can see, it's really short 2-5. Basically drive your car around as if 4th gear was the last gear and that's how it will be. First is a little longer than 1st in the WRX.

If you are pumping out 293whp @16psi (very impressive I might add), you are well into the 12's.
