Question Columbus: Black Wrx with Aps and unichip stickers

Was over at MicroCenter in the baby puke yellow thing. Saw a nice looking black wrx sedan with anthracite OZ's, and some "unichip" and "APS" tabs on the lower edge of the trunk lid. Also a Momo shift knob.

Saw them pull away later, but didn't see the driver.
Didn't sound modified. Someone mentioned that they may have been Asian or thin and dark haired. 2 guys.

Anyone we know?

Ed

so we went to the Auto show on Friday and looked at all the <$20K cars we could think of. Aimee's pick was the GTI, and i gotta agree.

I'm waiting to to talk with kelly about it. Audi/VW has adressed the coil pack issue so that should be one less worry.

If only the new Accord wasn't so damn ugly with the tan interior. I'm gonna have to see a Silver one with the black interior before it's completey off the list.
Why can'y Honda make a good looking fabric??? The CR-V has a hideous brown interior too!!!

Hey Honda expert, can you get A/C on an Accord DX?

Oh yeah, her 2nd fav was the RAV-4. What do you have against those?

you can as an option at least, it might be standard actually on the Accord

If you were going to buy a RAV-4 I'd rather have a CR-V to be honest... the engine is quite a bit stronger in the CR-V though.

I don't just say buy Honda because I work for them, we don't seem to have trouble moving many models that I'm aware of... I seriously believe that in every segment we have THE most reliable well rounded vehicle for a reasonable cost. I mean obviously I don't think they're the greatest car for everything which is why I have a Subaru which is just different. But for a car that I use for basic transportation I doubt I'll ever have anything else.

Honestly Orion, I get the feeling you don't want to like any of the Hondas just because they're Hondas or because I say they are very good cars. I don't think you know what kind of car you want either since you're cross shopping CR-V, RAV-4, Accord, Golf(???? - read TINY). Honestly if I were in your shoes I'd get a CR-V, good power, plenty of room to carry the baby stuff, still reasonably fun to drive, decent economy, front or AWD, good reliability. It's your money obviously and this is JMHO, but having driven a LOT of competitor vehicles there is still no maker that matches Honda's blend of materials, fit/finish, price, reliability, resale, fun to drive factor. Ask Halterman what he thought of my Civic when he drove it for the first time....

You're right in that we don't have an idea what we want, yet. I'm just yankin' yer chain when it comes to Hondas. I just hate to give in and buy a car that everyone else has!

The new Accord's interior layout is awesome, the cloth choice in the tan just sucked arse. I'm definitely going to drive one even if it is a DX (and no info either online or in the brochure lists A/C as an option on a DX ). $15900 for that car is simply amazing if A/C isn't too much extra.

160hp ain't too shabby for a 4 cyl. MT is the only way I'll buy a car anymore. I refuse to ever own a car with an AT is it's available with MT, resale be damned!

I was just reading up on it at Edmund's and Carpoint. Seems the LX 4cyl MT is all we'd ever need. DX is just too spartan.
