Question Urgent Help Needed on Truck Flood !

HI everyone, I installed the clear taillight and apparently, I didn't put on enough sealant/silicone back on. Now, my truck is flooded from last night's rain.
Can someone please suggest me some solution to solve the problem? I know if I don't get it solve fast, it will stain like hell. Thank you

Patrick

Pat,
I installed a set recently and used some GE black silicone sealant (exterior home stuff). I applied a generous amount on the light assembly itself them set the housing in place. Then I tightened the nuts quite ecurely - far more than they were. Some of the nuts were alomost hand tight from the factory. I was just careful to crisscross with the tightening - no leaks.

i am going to guess by truck you mean the boot, correct?

anyhow get a good wet/dry vaccum and that should suck the water out without much difficulty. and use some of that black sealant reccomended above to prevent further mishaps

good luck
