Default My dealer rocks!!!

so just got off the phone with my dealer.

they did confirm no price yet, as I thought. was hoping for the $30,995 price, but oh well

but now the good news!

At PDi, before delivery, I am changing the turbo back exhaust, seats, and wheels/tires.
now i was just planning on selling the stuff on here or ebay afterwards, but.....

the dealer said they will buy them off me, and there is a performance shop near them that wants the stuff too, so then i can get rid of it right away, and finance a few thousand less!

not sure the exact prices they will give me yet, but they said more than invoice, less than MSRP. and from working in the industry at a dealer, oem stuff is normally not cheap, so hopefully i can get decent coin for it, close to what i woudl selling it on my own.

and they will install everything for free!!!!!

woohoo, gotta love them. this is why i send people to them

they just got the 2004 WRX's (8 or them) in today, and are hoping for the STI's before May!

P.D.I. = 'Pre-Delivery Inspection'

All vehicles go through PDI prior to being available for sale as the fuses, mats, manuals and other ancillary items need to be installed, any & all shipping materials removed (plastic on the seats, hood, & outer body), minor tuning is made as necessary and DIO ('Dealer Installed Options') are added at this point.

Oops!
Ty Subaru in CT. Bob and the guys down there have treated me REAL well, and they sell a ton of WRX's, so they will be getting a good assortment of STI's when the time comes Great place, bought two cars there already, and keep going back even though they are 1:15 minutes away and i have three other dealers within 15 minuted of me It is worth it!

Also, no one will be allowed to drive my car, and it will not leave the lot once delivered. The only movement will be into and out of the garage for the pieces. No dealer installed options, and the right price! so it should have about 3 miles on it when i leave the lot

OEM is what coems on all vehicles, so yes, thre is an OEM turbon back exhaust. it will come on every dar.
I am switching to aftermarket instead of OEM. The OEM is being removed, teh dealer is buying it back form me, so they can sell it to some one for a WRX most likely.

I am 95% sure GD body exhausts will fit new body. I took a bunch of under car pics at the auto show and it all looks to be identical.

Surely the GD exhausts won't bolt up to the twin scroll turbo design, though?

The exhaust I am getting has been fitted to 2004 Euro STI's with the new body style, and fits well..
We will not be 100% sure on all the connections with the diffeernt engine till it is here, but I am not worried, can always have custom work done it need be. everything else in the system is proven to be a huge performer..

I don't see why not, the outlet of the compressor and the downpipe flange look identical.
