I was wondering if it was possible for someone to set up a GB on Zaino products. Not sure where to post this, but hopefully this is the right place.

Which Zaino product does one use for waxing? I used Z2 and it gave an awsome appearance but not a good feel.

You are supposed to use a combination of the products. Start with Z1, this is a primer, and will let the polish look its best. Then use Z2. You will want to top the z2 with some z6. You can add another coat of z2 as well after this.

You may want to check out Finish First Polish as well. It's much simpler to use and the results are similar since they're both polymers. Just apply. . let dry for 15-20 minutes or longer for a deeper shine and wipe off.

I looked at the site again. I love the polish but it is a pain in the ass to use, IMO. It makes the paint feel like there is no wax on it. I like that nice baby's ass feel after I wax my car. I dont want to seem ignorant but a polish and wax are different, right?

That said, the Zaino system is not a polish; it is a sealant. A sealant is a synthetic protectant, much in the way carnuba is a natural protectant. When applied properly, Zaino will feel like a "baby's ass". -Bob |

http://www.nsxsc.com/nsexcitement/waxtest.html Come to your own conclusions. Zaino is very easy to use, wont smear, doesnt mark your glass or your trim if you get it on there as a wax would. Anyways, I believe that if you order a certain number of cases, there is a discount. I will send an email out to know for sure. |

I just bought some Zaino products (one of their few retailers is right near me). I'll tell you the products I got:
- ZFX: additive which eliminates cure time so one coat can be put on right after one is taken off - Z2: their highest quality polish - Z5: polish which specifically eliminates surface swirl marks, not as high quality as Z2 but very good. You can apply 2-3 of Z5 until the swirls are adequately gone, then use 1-2 coats of Z2 as a finish to maximize gloss. - Z6: a gloss enhancer, a mist you use very sparingly after any coat of Z2 or Z5 - Z7: concentrated car wash - Clay Bar: 2 to a kit - applicator, came free with my order The GB would have to be for a standard kit of products. I think the package I got is a good standard one for everyone to get. The only option I see is Z5 or not, depending on whether you feel your car has swirl marks that need covering. I'll offer my services as coordinator. PM me with your interest and specify if you want Z5 or not - otherwise, the package will be as stated above. I'll get back to you on prices and minimum # of orders. Oh, and the guy provided me with a huge packet of instructions, so you'll get everything you need to use the products right. |

That's funny I just looked at my order form thats been sitting here for like 3 months and I have the exact same list minus the clay bar. I think my total was like $75 bucks then the clay bar woulkd be another 17$. I'd be in if you get this off the ground.-James

Cool - that's verification that the package I stated is probably a pretty good one to do the buy on. I have an e-mail out to my guy to gauge his interest. Stay tuned............

this is the right time of year to try it though.. the weather finally starting to warm up...
im in if the groupbuy lowers the price to a reasonable level. i originally intended to buy one of the cheaper alternatives to Zaino, but id be willing to spend a bit extra for the higher qualities products. anyone think they could coordinate anything else with the deal? I also need good microfiber towels and a PC. this would obviously involve some other vendors, but im just curious if anyone has the intention of offering these as well for convenience. |

I just ordered a nice set of MF towles through www.microfibertech.com and I'm really happy with them. I had never used MF before, I was using a leather Chamois. These dry the car in about half the time and it seems to leave a better finish as well, if that possible. No marring either, I tested them on an old CD. I think tha package I got was like 2 of the grey drying towels and about 10 of the small blue ones that work really well on windows and other stuff. -James

I emailed Sal at Zaino this morning, will have to give him a call tomorrow morning and talk to him. I will pass along any info that I get as soon as I get it.
I would recomend the package that was mentioned above, its what I plan on getting. If everyone decides to get the same thing, that would sure make life easier. Clay bars would of course be an option, but one that I would get myself. Again, I will post whatever info I get tomorrow. |

Didn't notice that you offered to e-mail earlier in the thread. I sent him an e-mail, too. Hmmm, hope he doesn't already think we're a bunch of disorganized dinks. Whoever hears back first, post here!

I remembered the Zaino thread last year on the forum boards and could not believe my when seeing the pics of cars that were Zaino'd. I spent $80+ with shipping. Plus $20 so far on white cotton towels (specific ones recommended).SONICBLUE: can you scan the instructions that were sent to you? I didn't get any with my order ![]() |

I was my car with Zaino car wash.
I wax it with their Show Car polish. In between washes I use the shine booster. My girlfriend uses their Leather cleaner for her interior... Bottom line, their products are amazing!! YOu can wax every single peice on your car without worrying about the wax staining it white! I do my lights, even my black moldings and sometimes my windows too!!! I would definatelky be interested. However, it would be cool if Zaino supported online ordering. Group Buy...I would be interested. Peace! C-EZ P.S. Pics of my car with the Zaino Shine @ www.c-ez.net |
