Default Ticking Noise

I have a MY00 2.5RS and I love it. My heat shield was making a rattling noise when the car is cold, once it is up to temp. the noise is gone. I took it many times to the dealer and every time they say they fixed it and 1st thing in the morning I can still hear the noise. last week I took it to a muffler place and within 2 minutes it was fixed. The guy solder in couple of spot, he also placed couple of brackets and that was it.

Now I hear ticking noises especially when I turn the car off. I Know there were/are lots of ticking noises when I shutt the car off, but it is louder now and I can also hear it when I am in trafic and the car is just rolling.

The noise do go away once the car is cool.

Is this normal, any help advise would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

FOR GREAT JUSTICE!!!

that's just the headshield expanding and contracting with increasing temp/decreasing temp, it's fine.

All cars have that noise. You never noticed them before?? My mom's 540 sounds like a it got a few dozen clock under the car when I turn it off. They're nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the help.
Yes I agree that there are many ticking noises when I turn the car off, and yes it is normal, but is it normal to hear it while rolling in trafic, or idling at a traffic light ?
