Total Motor Group in North Van supplies Motul. I think I'll try it at my 18,000km oil change.

I wasn't aware Mobil 1 was now blended. When did this happen?

I would prefer to use 100% synthetic. Any issues with switching from Mobil to Motul at this stage?

Thanks

A year ago. I'm going by passed on info though so don't take my word for it. Reliable sources but I don't claim it to be fact.

After using synthetic oil for my auto-x year, I've flush my system and reverted back to cheap stock Pennzoil 5w30 oil...

MOBIL1 data sheet

says "Fully Synthetic" in that datasheet there.

or if you are lazy...from the FAQ page:
Quote:
Q: Is Mobil 1 with SuperSyn?a fully synthetic motor oil?

Yes, it is. To meet the demanding requirements of today's specifications (and our customers' expectations), Mobil 1 with SuperSyn?uses high-performance fluids, including polyalphaolefins (PAOs), along with a proprietary system of additives. Each Mobil 1 with SuperSyn?viscosity grade uses a unique combination of synthetic fluids and selected additives in order to tailor the viscosity grade to its specific application.

Thanks jackwei.

If it isn't 100% synthetic, I call bullsh*% as their site states it is.
