Question Radiator cap - bar rating

I bought a new radiator cap today. While the original cap on my MY99 RS is rated at 1.1bar, why is this new oem one 0.9 bar? Can someone check to see if they gave me the wrong cap - ie: is it rated differently for model year or between RS's and WRX's?

Nevermind...

0.9bar caps are for Foresters. 1.1bar caps are for RS's (at least for MY99). Same engine though, so I don't know why they made a diff.

So are you taking it back and getting the right cap? What did an OEM cap cost you? I got my greddy 1.3bar cap for like $30.

Nah, the mechanic said it's ok. If it overheats or something then ya, i'll get my money back or get them to change it, but so far the temp reads normal.

It cost me ~$23 cnd for it. I also got a new thermostat for $25 cnd.
