Thumbs up Pushing up release dates.

Just talked to one local dealer that said cars might be arriving at dealers at end of April/early May, looks like SOA is trying to get the cars out sooner.

Hopefully this isn't old news.

Looking at your "location"... seems like Irvine Subaru told
u the same thing... but most people (and most other dealers)
said sometime in June though....

Last time I called SOA a couple of days ago, they told me that a June release date would be the most realistic. Which tells me taht they aren't even talking about releasing the cars in late may anymore. If anything all the feedback I have recieved these past days point to a later release date, but I sincerly hope that I am wrong...

Dateline Houston:

I had my wagon in for service on Monday. The sales guy said they were told by SOA not to expect to receive any Sti's until sometime in September. And then, they're only promised one.

Every dealership will probably have a different release time. The STI's are being allocated so the major dealers will more than likely get them first. Look at the evo. It first got released in california and some dealers on the east coast are still waiting. In Atlanta one dealer does have 2 evo's marked up 5k lol. We are seeing the same thing happen with the 2004 wrx. Some will get the STi earlier than others. I am going to put a deposit down this weekend for mine. I will be #6 on the list which is fine with me. I have myself budgeted to get the car around August. By then I should have about 15k to 20k saved up.

Just this past Monday a dealer here in PA said he has 6 STi's coming in May with the next shipments in June, July, August, etc. The dealer is one of the largest in the East, so that may be why May is the arrival date. "The waiting is the hardest part!"
