Default skid plates and rear diff. protector?

Anyone know where I can find skid plates and a rear diff. protector for a '97 OB? I'm interested in getting some protection for the underside of my wagon, that way at least I don't need to worry as much about damaging something when i go offroad.

How much weight do they add to the car too, and what kind of drop in fuel efficiency will I see? Any ideas?

kmin.

Check out Paul @Primitive. He has both front & rear skid paltes, with different thickness. I have been looking into these for a while and plan to order them with my tax return.

I know Subiegal out on the West Coast has a set and recommends them.

Paul's site is:

I have not heard anything about a significant fuel efficiency drop.

kmin,

Where are you located in NJ? I have the OEM engine underguard and rear diff protector that I took off my '96 Outback when I traded it in. Both are in excellent condition with mounting hardware, installation instructions and original boxes. These fit '96 to '99 Outback and Legacy.

I also have an OEM trailer hitch that fits '96 to '99 Outbacks.

Default DaveM, I'm interested, if kmin doesn't take those items

DaveM,
I'm also located between Philly and Lancaster, in Chester County. If "kmin" doesn't take those pieces, I'd be interested.
e-mail me at audi-s4@netcarrier.com
Thanks.
