Default ??????? on a sti intercooler kit.

hey everyone.

i wanted to know what sti intercooler kit is for my car. someone said he has one for me but i wanna make sure its the right one that can fit on my car. if anyone knows can ya help a fellow suby out. The product # is sic-tm 0030 its made by sanden. i just wanna make sure it fits before i commit to it. thanks ahead of time

i dont have one but im shopping around for my own turbo right now. im looking at vf 28-30 right now. but i just wanna make sure that this intercooler is for the gc8.

Are you having a EJ20T swap (or planning to)? Because I heard you may run into fitting problem, due to the fact that the JDM WRI (and STi) are all 2.0l, so having a tad smaller intake manifold. My friend has a 98 JDM WRX TMIC, and he barely fitted that thing into his 1.8l That same TMIC won't fit my RS.

nah. im just trying to customize my own turbo. i just wanna make sure this sti intercooler is for the gc8 and not the newer models. any new info would help.

Doesnt matter if its new or old body,the throttle body on the N/A cars sit closer to the firewall than the turbo models.
