u want a scooter so u can insure it and get your car with full discount??? anyways icbc is hip to that scam now and have changed the rules........ if that is what u were thinkin.. if not,, my bad

I've heard ICBC has changed the rule...but what exactly is changed?

well, no... there used to be a time when i used to use the bike every day and the car was for bad weather days only, but now icbc has made my bike more expensive to insure for one riding season than it is to insure the wrx for the entire year

It might. Banjo do you post on IC?? I think there is a guy or a couple guys on there that know what will in fact work. Basically lets say you have a high premium. I think if you buy a beater car that will have low insurance will get the premium, your second or third cars which would probably have higher insurance (like your rex) will not have the premium. OR, if you have had an accident and you claimed it you could always pay ICBC off for the amount of your accident (only worth it if it is not a huge one) then your premiums go back to zero. I think.

Best thing to do though is to not get in accidents!

i have 15 or 10% discount right now but the insurance still comes to 3300 or so.. HOLY COW its expensive..
