Unhappy HELP threw a code P0170 (fuel bank one)

Ok i drove up to NC and back last weekend. the car ran great the entire time.
when i got back i was running my friend home and on the way back to my apt. i throw a code (sunday).
i go to Autozone the next day and have them pull the code (P0170) they clear it and i go about my business ( i figured it was just the gas cap not being all the way tight) i had been up for 20 hrs i was bound to do something like that.
well last night (wednesday) on my way home from work "BING" CEL i havent had it pulled yet but i am willing to put money that it is P0170.
My car is bone stock (for now). i do have a pretty decent sized exhaust leak at the donut after the cat. other than that and the SPG mod there is nothing done to the car.

i did a search and didnt really turn up much .
any help would be appreciated.
oh my nearest dealer is an hour away. so i am sorta on my own.
Does anyone have any idea of a test that i can do to try and pinpoint the problem?

Thanks in advance
Chris

I believe I had the same code caused by my intake. They said it was an air intake or exhaust leak.

I would think that your exhaust leak is causing that CEL.

I had read on one of the posts that I found where the dealer was saying that. I was trying to think how that would cause a CEL.
if it was before the O2 I could see it doing it in a heart beat. but after it I'm not sure.
can you explain why it would cause the cel?
I'm not bashing or anything, I am just trying to understand how the ECU works a little better.

I have a Brullen Header and high flow cat sitting at my apt. that I am going to be putting on, but I have to save up the money for the muffler and welding that needs to be done. so I hope that will fix it, and make it sound allot meaner too

thanks for the reply
Chris
