Default Word Up !!! got my sti hid finally installed

finally got these bad boyz in,, now i gotta replace these cheezy ass cheap ass clear sidemarkers,, the fitment on them is horrible and they kinda stick out,, yuckk,, im goin with black covers on em instead................

answers

i got em from a member on this board used

yes,, they r rhd hid jdms.. so no daytime running lites for me,, either they on or off

suspension,, tein springs,, its a good drop,, im happy with it,, i might get some shocks to match it,, maybe some kyb,s

my next mods r ,torque convertor, sti hoodscoop and splitter,, txs tmic and possibly some sway bars,, perrin or cuscos....


down the road,, imma get some brakes,, i havent quite decided on what yet.......also possibly i may get some ssr comps 18,s gunmetal with polished lip

the lights looks dope!
and did u know they sparkle different colors like blue/purple/green during the night?? cuz i didnt know that.

i had the dealership slap em on, and i told em to do there best adjusting them by lowering the beam................ if i do get many flashes from the opposite side of the road i plan on dissmantaling them and modifing the light beam

For the record, I have JDM projectors and have never been flashed by oncoming traffic.
Hovever, with my stock WRX lamps and PIAA super white plus lamps (properly aligned) I was flashed all the time.
Once you lower the lhs and raise the rhs it is amazing how much better it is than stock.
I have ordered the HID 9000k kit. I didn't realize someone out there might not like HIDs...maybe I should cancel my order?

username, projector is very different from reflector headlight! yes, they are designed for RHD but if you aim it a little bit lower, you won't blind the on-coming traffic!

Also, the JDM WRX projector shield is only single step cut.. not like e-code.. like my JDM projector here:

so far ,, 1 person highbeamed me,, that was on the lil airport backroute there by mcdonald beach,, well the area is pitch black with no street lights and i had my fogs on..........i was doin some utecs logs there tryin to self tune this damn thing,, imma prob blow my engine up with me tinkering with it........ anyways i have to go back to subaru to get this warranty work on my window,, when im there ill ask em to point my lights a tad lower
