Post Aftermarket lights

I am looking to replace my 'Autozone Special' Pilot Fog lamps seen here: http://www.remarcable.net/misc/legac...ry/Image60.jpg

I want to replace them because they are not mounted very well and have a very shortrange beam pattern.

I am looking at these new FF lamps from Hella: http://catalog.com/susq/hella/newff.htm

I want driving lights this time, not fogs. Are these good lamps and has anybody else used them? They certainly look pretty neat. I would probably paint the casings black or blue to match my car as I am not real big on the shiny chrome stuff.

Any other recomendations? Not looking to spend much more than $100 for two lamps, mounts, and wiring harness.

In a lighting test done by European Car magazine hella black magics were by far the best I donnu the price thought I would assume 150ish a pair considering the hella rallye 4000s are 100 aprox each

Those look real nice Remarcable. The price is right also. As I'm sure you know the Black Magics are over twice your target price, but gotta tell ya, they not only shine Bright, but look Incredible!
Also, just my $.02, but painting anything going on the front of the car means you'll always be repainting regularly, or it looks like heck. Be sure to share the results with us!

i actually had the ff100 on my rodeo. the flexability in installation is absolutely amazing. IIRC i picked up the set for $95 at the store but you could probably do much better on the net. the housing is actually light grey and matte silver, only the lens is chrome.

Placed an order at susqueeeeeeehaaaana motorsports (not even bothering to attempt correct spelling) for the f100 lights and supertone horns. I went there because alot of other i-club member have had good luck with them.

Haven't recieved an email or a call from them yet to get my credit card info.

Kinda shoddy response times if you ask me.

Don't they have secure on-line ordering? I bought my Super-Tones there and don't recall any calls, just prompt service and a great price($55 special). The horns are awesome, even in the stock mounting position. I'm a firm believer in KISS.

Yeah there is an online form you fill out then they are supposed to email you or call you to get your credit card info and to confirm shipping rates.

Ordered around noon today and nothing yet.

Oh well, it's not like anything would get shipped out this weekend anyway.

EDIT: Just went through their site again and yes, they do have an online order form. however for some reason during my previous dozen or so visits to the site I did not notice it. Also, the 'ORDER' button does not take you to the online order page. So what do I do now? Order Online or wait for them to process the other form order and call me?

EDIT2: Went ahead and did the online order. It is pretty slick, I wonder why they don't have it linked better from the main page?
