Default STi Impression ???

Guys;

I like to hear your point of view. Almost, every car portrait certain impression, e.g. Mustang shows itself as a mussel car, BMW as an elegant, expensive driving machine, Vette an American icon of mussel car and etc.

In you opinion, what kind of impression an STi, with the new front end, big wing will portrait to a viewer? If one coming at you or behind you, how would your brain define and categorize it?

Basically, people identify a driver to the car he/she is driving. So, if I'm driving an STi, how would people see me???

Thanks!

..Ben

IMHO most of the american public will see that huge wing, gold wheels, and giant hood scoop and just classify you as another damn ricer . By other enthusiast that know what the sti is you will be reconized as an enthusiast, unless your young then youll be classified as a luck SOB.

EDIT: Oh yeah and the ricers will see you as god

What's that pink lettering say [?]... Too late he's gone!! Personally I don't think it'll make an impression to most people. It's no PT Cruiser!

I really think the STI will carry a weight much like the Type R intergra. It will mostly go unoticed of what the car really is. A balls to the wall rally car for the streets of America. Probably mostly confused for a standard WRX with a big wing and gold wheels.
But to those lucky few know about the STI, you will be understood and admired.

BTW.... I don't feel that the type r is in the same class as the STI, but there story of going unoticed for being a special automobile will be shared.

Think honda civic, huge tail wing, body kit, massive exhaust, huge decals and lowered so much they can no longer drive over speed humps.

Yeah or basically any car (except 2) that was in the fast and the furious, or all show and no go etc....

Its just the sti comes with many of the things that ricers copy, I.E. huge wing, body kit, scoops, and a few decals.

What'dya mean? The cars in fast and the furious were all 10 sec. cars!!

I'm still working on my double clutching, but soon I'll be a 10 sec car too.
