Default Windshield Replacement and Driving Lights

I wanted to see who has replaced their windshield recently and where they got it done at. Trying to find a decent place to get my windshield replaced or if anyone has recommendations.

I did do a search and only one I found recently was Parousia's posting for Coastal Glass but wanted to get some feedback on actual replacements of the whole windshield.

Oh one other thing...I was planning on getting Hella 500 driving lights and wanted to see who has installed any fogs lately. Will be needing help with the wiring.

Personally I didn't like the Hella 500 pencil beams. I should have gotten the 500 fog lamps, or a different driving light pattern.

Don't go to Speedy in North Vancouver, kiddy corner to Subaru. Worst installation job i've ever seen!

I second Ken's disappointment of Speedy. My parent's minivan had its windshield replace there and they pride out the surrounding rubber strip and reinstall it and it doesn't fit flush with the windshield. RoadWarrior by Specialty is pretty good. North Van Benz send their cars to him.

Make sure that you compare pricing when you get your windshield done.....

ICBC pricing is usually a little higher than what you can get it done for elsewhere.

Give Brett a call

need to get my windshield replaced kuz it got cracked.

But my deductible is $200, and I'm pretty sure replacing it myself would be higher than the deductible, so, parousia, would you concern about prices?

I'll check out RoadWarrior. Thanks!

When I got my windshield cracked... I went back to Subaru... back then there wasn't replacement glass for the 02 at any windshield shops yet, so I got a over $1200 factory windshield when the deductable was still only $100
