I would please like to know the different ways of putting the front mudflap onto the RS. Coz I'm only using 2 huge screw w/ tape rap around and let it hang onto the two hole provided with nothing holding it at the back. And I checked the clip nut in Subaru, which cost $1.25 CAN each, and I haven't think of anything that'll be useful in a hardware store... So please tell me how you do it so I can get more idea to install it properly! Thanks!!

Thx Subie Gal!! I know you'll answer my question
![]() Mine is generic also... you know the 2 outside bolt (first 2 from right) you got? Do you have anything like a nut behind the bolt to secure it? And the 3rd one from the right, did you drill that yourself through the plastic skirt? |

<FONT face="Comic Sans MS">You can get a few ideas from here:http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/northursalia/impreza/stiflaps/stiflaps.htm They are STi style but generic as they come. Standard nuts and bolts work fine too, just make sure you buy stainless steel nuts and bolts

heya...
yes drilled throught the fender liner... nuts behind the 2 on the right... the other are self securing... mind you.. the insiders do come loose afer rallies... if i was to do it over again, i'd go hard core and use proper rally brackets and drill straight into the outside of the car like any rally car should..... but for a street car... this may be the way you want to go - or something similar. j. www.subiegal.com |
