Vivid,

Do you have a pic of your "Front Grill Side Set", part number J1010FE040? I just want to be sure these are the right ones before I order them, thanks!

Also, do you have those in WR Blue?

Go to our site, enter, then click WRX products, then body kits, then OEM, look at the picture of the front of the car. The pieces next to the grill is them. Kind of Morette looking.

Default I think vividracing is the WORST company to deal with!

I would like to warn fellow members of their very bad service. I emailed them about an item on their website and they lied in my face and then turned it around on i-club making me a bad guy! They stop replying to my emails too. I asked about their service and several other i-club members complained about them. I hope you guys are very careful when you deal with vividracing.com. Thanks for reading -sp.

I've heard nothing but bad things about Vivid.

And, they now sell Altezzas for the WRX, enough said.....

Default Guess I'm lucky

I've dealt with them several times and always received great service and product shipped immediatly. However, if this altezza story is true, I'll have to reconsider.

Thumbs down

thumbs down for vivid racing!!! i ordered the intercooler water spray and the switch they gave me was a freakin' LEMON. on top of that they did not provide clear instructions as their website claimed. i ended up modifying it on my own and having to buy a switch from radio shack and costing me an additional $30 to get the system working. items are over priced and shipping time lags. ZERO customer satisfaction! dan wanted me to return the broken STI switch and give me a lame lookin one. not what i wanted as a solution, plus he said,"he was not a tech support." so who the hell do you run to if a problem comes up especially if you bought the items through them? i have wrote in the past about my situation but i want to remind i-club members not to deal with this vendor.

slow shipping, no @#$%en way.

I've been waiting for my Griffin lip for ever.

Every time I e-mail vivid I get "It was shipped, you should get it by friday"

Stupid me, I forgot to ask which friday and of what year...

I know that the lip is being delivered by truck, but now I think it is delivered by someone using hand-truck not an engine powered truck, but a one-guy powered truck...

This is just #$%^en frustrating...

Default Vivid Racing is tempting me...

OEM sideskirts for my WRX at vividracing are like $230. I was concerned about having them painted though because that costs more obviously... but I emailed vivid and they told me that all other colors except for silver costs extra. Two things about that email made me really happy... one, I have a silver car. two, the emailed back within 15 minutes of sending the thing... I'm impressed and assuming the service from vivid is excellent, am I right to think this?

order from subaruparts.com or subaruwrxparts.com and you will find that their prices are very good, and the pieces come painted i think for $245.

So pissed off, why don't you come from behind your screen name so we know who you are and fix the situation.

Furthermore, a phone call is always better then email.

The sideskirts from them are cheaper, they are dealerships...OEM parts will always be cheaper from a dealer.

What is it with you?
Are you retarded over the e-mail, but very serious on the phone?

You don't have time for on line chat, but you got time to charge my credit card over a month ago. And till today I still don't see the item I payed for A MONTH AGO.

E-mail or fax me a copy of the shipping invoice showing actual date of the lip being shipped from CA.

Here is my final thought about Vivid and then I will wash my hands of them forever. As I previously stated they were sending out the 2 hoodscoops I ordered from Tokigi Racing, and one excuse after another was given why they were not sent out. Finally after 2 long months of total BS I got a tracking number. I finally recvd my package only to find that there was ONE hoodscoop in the box, not two. The one that was in there was the painted one, so they were not even responsible for painting the other one, just putting it in the box, and they manged to F that up. Morons. Anyway, I contacted Jim from Tokigi (because Vivid is too buisy F-ing up everyone elses orders to talk to me) and told him that the unpainted hoodscoop was for a customer of mine who has postponed his car being painted three times cause the scoop was late, and that Friday the car was going in and I needed the scoop. He send Dan his UPS account number and told him to overnight it. Well I got the tracking number but guess what, it was sent ground. I guess Vivid likes to play these kinds of games, you know like say bad things about me, ok Ill screw you twice, once by "forgetting" the hoodscoop (may I please add that the invoice was in the box that clearly stated there were to be 2 scoops) and twice screwing me by sending out the package ground when it was suppose to be sent overnight.

Here is the bottom line, Vivid, you guys suck. You do. Im not one to talk shi+ and Ive been a member here a long time, and I have never honestly seen a company that had so little going for it. I sincerely hope everyone is paying close attention to this thread and decides to never buy anything from you again. You guys are junk, your service is crap, and you have zero business skills. I hope to hell you guys go bankrupt very soon. You sure as F wont ever see a dime from me or anyone else I can talk to again.

Later and :monkey:

Hey VR, do you and your company a favor and dont ask me to call cause I dont think you could handle the earfull I would give you. Also, I did call you and the response I got was "uhh, I dont know, you gotta call jim." Real professional. It would take alot of time for you to have looked up my order and tell me what was up with it, seeing as how you had all the information there and were the ones responsible for shipping it out. Furthermore, blaming one of your dealers (Jim) for your F ups is just plain crap.

i must say that this thread has by far been the most entertaining hour i have ever spent on i-club. Here are a few things i have observed:

1. It appears that vivid racing has alot to learn about customer service. Coming from a retail background i can tell you that customer service isn't just important it is EVERYTHING. A satisfied customer will tell 5 people about you, an unsatisfied customer will tell 10, or in your case post their frustrations online for all to see.

2. It seems that VR is quick to urge people to call them with their problems instead of posting them here which would make others aware of the miserable way they treat customers. If you don't want people posting their bad experiences and frustrations with your company try being straight forward with people and not dicking them around.

3. I may not have a subaru but if i ever get one i assure you that as a result of this thread VR will never get any business from me.

Absoutely nothing against Vivid Racing. They dont know me and I dont know them. But this is why I buy local. In my opinion its far cheaper. So you save 10-15% online. How much of your time did it cost you in frustration. Whats more valuable than your time. Nothing. Every hour you spend on an order is like burning $50 of your free time, or however much you put a price on it. I think $50 is pretty cheap for my time. When its all said and done, what did you save. If anything, it costs YOU in many cases. Thats why I buy local unless its absolutely bulletproof say Tirerack or something where all the necessary recourse avenues are already clearly defined. I can get in my car and drive to the place, walk up to the counter, and lay out my beef in 10 minutes and theres no confusion and its all settled at a local shop. Plus, you get to know the people and after some business, they'll usually cut you better deals on stuff for being loyal and spreading their good name.

Again, nothing against Vivid. Just a general observation on the industry. I would encourage the folks living near Vivid to frequent Vivid as well and not shop it online so much.

Cheapest is rarely least expensive has been my general opinion.
