He's not on here defending himself because you're suing him. You seem too stupid to understand that it's not a good idea to put anything on the internet that involves a current tort.

^^^^^This is a BS statement. I knew little about subarus and even less about turbo's before i joined this site. I may be no expert but i've learned alot from Nasioc. It's been about a year since i joined and I'm still on Newbie status because of the simple fact that there is so much info on here that everytime i think about asking a question i search first and it's lready been answered. You had a bad experience with KP now go and compare your bad experience with KP to all the bad experiences that have been posted on this thread alone about Vivid. It's simple to see which one sucks and which one doesn't.

I could care less how old your kids are. I also don't care who you are sueing, how much you do or don't get, or who you have fixing your car. Vivid blows. If you think they are a good shop, then so be it. It is only a matter of time before you will be sueing them.

ummm A. You do relize there are many Kingpin supporters, How do you know it was me? I do not touch other peoples cars. I would expect the same from others. I treat others cars regardless of who they are and what have done to Kingpin with respect. So please dont fly off the handle at me when you have no viable proof. I have no idea who you are or your situation and would love it if you would not bring me up in any of your convo s.

You can say that again. My experience with them goes back about 4 years when they were just starting their vividracing.com website. They used to have a company called "Vivid Wireless" that sold cell phones and cell phone accessories. I called them and talked to Dan and ordered a full housing kit for my old Nokia cell phone. I asked him if he had it in stock and he said that he sure did.

A month passes, no housing. Of course, my credit card was charged the same day I placed the order. I then call him up and ask to speak with Dan to ask what's going on. He tells me that he has to special order the housing from his contacts in CHINA. I then ask him "how come you didn't tell me this to begin with"? He tells me: "I thought I had it in stock but it looks like we ran out". I asked him: "why did you charge my card if you didn't have it in stock?". He then tells me "That's company policy".

I was soooo pissed. I swore to never order anything from them again. I finally got my housing about a month after that so it took about 2 months to get it. I actually got turned onto Subaru's (specifically the WRX) because of his vividracing.com web site that he had just started up back in late 2001/2002.

So basically the only thing that he did right for me was started my lust for Subaru's.

So to all the moron's who insist on defending these clowns: Go right ahead and keep ordering from them. You'll get screwed sooner or later.

Just don't come crying here when it happens.

The main problem that most people have is waiting for months to get their stuff. You'll get it, but you may have to wait for a while.

I also remember when they started selling wireless accessories. I remember inquiring about WRX parts... that was back in 2001.

Yeh, I got banned a few days ago. The vivid forum is "down for repairs". There were some nice quotes, but I don't remember any except for where dan called me an internet geek. I kinda regret not saving the e-mail he sent me telling me I was banned. eh, here's a little link for ya that's kinda amusing. For anyone who doesn't get what's goin on there, it's basically dan callin someone a moron and threatenning to sue him, even though the person who made "vividsucks.com" was dans "friend" and had baught thousands of dollars of car parts from vivid.

Just some more griping I guess...... Vivid racing advertised "agency power" parts on their forum, like they were some new company that people should look to get parts from. Agency power is just another one of dans companies. 90% of the parts they made are rip offs of other companies parts which they sold in the past. Vivid stopped selling greddy oil catch cans, kart boy shifters, shifter bearings, gfb bov's, worx bov's, and many other things once they knocked off their products. They also sell other parts that they've knocked off, like perrin end links and modded injectors. Perrin was making those injectors before anyone knew how to mod stock injectors, now vivid sells theirs for less then half the price they sell the perrin injectors.

"vivid racing, new building, new image", same old ****. Course it makes me wonder why they're knocking off all the other wrx parts manufacturers products when they're not interested in this market(since we have no money). To dan..... Go find some porsche owners to sell your $11000 turbo kits, and $16000 exhaust to. It's not like we or the people who you've ripped off product ideas from made your business or anything<gripe over>.

peace

actually we dropped Vivid from being one of our vendors when they were not paying their bills on time. and undercutting other dealers.

That's funny, cause when I braught this subject up on vivids forum, dan said that he didn't want your parts since your company was so small. Something about two people running a company part time. He said he never got enough product from you. Just so ya know.
