vivid is ok for phoenix people because if dynocomp doesnt have whatever part or kingpin then vivid always has it or something like it and we can just go get it. plus if they screw us then we can drive there and wait for them to walk outside after work. No wonder they lock the front doors in the day time.

Well I have been waiting for parts for about 6 months now. The best part is that I have already been charged for them. I have emailed and have been told that they are on the way, or that the parts are coming in soon. I still don't have them yet, ***!!!

Have you not learned by reading this thread???????????? THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS. Everything is great until its time for them to ship your part. Then it "magically" disappears or it is "magically" not in stock.

yea, 25pages makes me decide to never even look at Vivids website let alone attempt to buy from them... Vivid's conduct reminds me of kids back in high school

now that mike, jeff and others are gone at vivid i have noticed a change. i have spent alot of money there and recieved my products in 4 days. i had excellent customer service.

they have a credit plan with carcareone, so if they somehow mess with you and not deliver its really their ass, since there working with a credit card company.

it sucks though that those bad apples are now apart of kingpin

but not saying anyone else there isnt to blame. just also saying i had a good dealing

I am local to both - and have done business with both and to be honest with you both kicked @ss.. Sounds like the special orders are the one that got delayed ALSO everything I bought I knew to be in stock and was a walk in purchase. So I can't really call it like some of you... But the one thing I can say both groups seemed to care about (me the customer) and will be going back to both. Sorry for all of you who got jacked around..

You're really reaching here bret. Mike and I were apart of vivid at two different times. Vivid and I parted ways due to personal reasons and I still talk to them and even went and hung out with Rob and Dan and the rest of the Vivid crew during their grand opening into the new facility that they reside in now. Get your facts together before making ignorant posts on the internet.

Default Long Delays from Vivid Racing

I've ordered project miu brake pads from them in December '05. Until two weeks ago, they were "shipped but there was no tracking number".
Two weeks ago I spoke to them and switched to Hawk "on the shelf". still didn't get the pads, called today to cancel my order, but " the supplier has shipped them out, but has not given us the tracking number". I asked if they had been shipped earlier than today, otherwise I will refuse the pads, because I called today TO CANCEL.

Subaru Stars temperature check on the situation

Trying to pump a little life back into this thread; Any new observations with Vivid from anyone, since my last post I purchased a down pipe and cat back from them and had them install the uppipe.. yet another good experience, but now I am about to get tuned and since they offer the financing and have the dyno right there I am very tempted to go there not to mention for me it has all been good, but after speaking with a very good source I really want to have Mike at KP do it. Any input? PM me if you do not want to put anyone on blast I just want to make a good decision before I drop 600-800 bucks on an intangable (the tune), not to mention from all of my readings this is going to be one of the most important steps in my project.

I've dealt with VR numerious times, sometimes good sometimes I make 8hr drives to get everything cleared up!!
Here's what I've learned.....
A) Talk to them about the order BEFORE placing an order.
B) Ask questions,make sure they have what your looking for in stock. If not see when they can get it to you.
C)JOIN THE VR FORUMS THEY REALLY HOOK YOU UP ON PRICES!!!
D) Keep contact with them after the order.
E) If the order should not arive on time-- RAISE HELL!!! They'll get you your part(s) asap

I've been though the waiting and being charged and not getting anything,seen the months it takes to get an intake. But Vivid is really a sweet company, IF you know how to get what you want at a great price and you know how to handle business.

These ****ers are trying to get me to pay for something I returned immediately claiming they didn't recieve it. But I have tracking numbers and records from postal annex. Those ****ers should all go to hell.
