Default knock link vs J&S

Just wondering how well the knock link by Link Management measure up to the J&S safeguard. This will be going on a '98 RS MAF Turbo project.

Honestly, after talking with John from J&S, I think that the J&S picks up detonation better. But along with that, the J&S does something about it while the KnockLink just shows you it's happening.
