Default OT: Initial D arcade game

Has anyone found a place that have Initial D ver 2 game that accept Japanese spec cards for less then 2 bucks a game? I went to espot tonight and it was fun. (finally get to play again since last Dec). Also, were any of you there tonight?? I saw like 4 other Imprezas there.

Last I checked, it was $2 everywhere. Almost all the places accept the card. I've only played it once and the graphics are amazing but I still can't justify spending so much on a game.

Hahahaha banjo that will burn a hole in our wallet so fast. The ver 1 machine at Rush is North American spec and I try using my Japanese spec card and it won't read it. I have a FC on the ver 1 and a GD STi on the ver 2.

Gah... it runs off a dreamcast board for the arcade. It would've been a direct port to Sega's Dreamcast if it didn't die....

I've got quite a few of cars... but of the ones that can play Ver. 2 are a GD WRX STi, a 11000 rpm Trueno, and the car I am most proud of, the GC8 WRX that Bunta drives... got that from a cheat... lol...

I love that game too, but since Ver2 is still expensive, I've been sticking with Ver1. I got a GC8, GDB, and a FD for Ver1, and I got Bunta's GC8 coupe in Ver2. Playdium has Ver1, if you buy the $20 credit play card, there are enough credits for 20 games ($1/game). The arcade in Metrotown outside of T&T has also reduced the price for Ver1 to $1. But due to the pneumonia virus, I've decided not to play this game for the time being.

It's not really a cheat, it's just a car which is normally not available to choose. Since many people here own a GC8 coupe, I think it's normal for us to want to use that car in the game (althought of course that coupe is very different from our coupes here).

In order to make this car available, you have to: In the page where you choose the manufacturers, push the shifter up, down, up, down, up, up, down, down, then step on the brake, hold it, and press the change view button at the same time. Actually I did that like a month ago, so I'm not too sure if it's right or not, you'd better check the game's official site.

*Note that "push the shifter up" actually means "shift down," and vice versa.
