Thumbs down ADR Wheels <= big pile of crap

I didnt buy these for my WRX, but for my other car. I didnt want
to spend a lot of money on wheels for my grocery getter so
decided on some good looking ADR's... but it turns out these
ADR wheels are either just spray painted like body parts or
their paint just totally sucks, but they flake under the lug nut
and around the outside of the rim when tires are mounted.

I could not believe this *****!!! and to think that
many people are running ADR wheels makes me sick.

bottom line, never buy these wheels if you plan on
changing tires often or even take the wheels off the car often.

They look good, but im sure the finish will start chipping real
soon from rocks and normal use.

I would never buy this brand again, I learned my lesson and
hope that everyone else will read this and dont make the
same 'mistake.'

I should've just bought some mille miglia's from tirerack.

Post hmmm

I have adr m-classic 17's and am pretty satisfied though i believe they are too heavy.....

I hit a curb shortly after and took a little chunk out of one but i would have thought that by the sound it would have done more damage...

i was wondering why the guy at the shop was anal about me
choosing a wheel and tire that i was 100% sure to keep.

i thought he was just being an ass, but apparently these
wheels are not powercoated well (or just sprayed) and the
paint will chip when you mount tires on them or mount the
wheels to the car. the chip is on the outer rim of the wheel
not visible from the front, but visible if you took a look at your
wheel from the side and looked between the tire sidewall and
the outside part of the rim. nnnn, primer showing through.

being naive about cheep wheels, i didnt know people sold
wheels that were this cheap. mille's and kosei's were
absolutely fine, not to forget my SSR comps and integral-A2's.
