Actually I saw it but after I posted what I saw I realized that a certain someone may want to post it him/herself so I edited my post. It is not for me to be letting anyones cat out of the bag.
Anyways, whatever it was that I did not see was gorgeous!

Chris was waxing it when me and the Binder went down.
It seriously looks fantastic. Peter, if you could get the titanium or anthracite (whatever it's called) Oz's they will look so sweet.
Are you going to leave the side skirts or paint them?
They look kind of lame in black, but I would understand if you were left them as you will be rallying.

Side skirts will not be painted as that's just too much money to throw at an high impact area.

Down the line, the skirts will be swapped for Kevlar (bullet proof) skirts that are covered in vinyl promotion stickers.

For now, the stock skirts will be recovered in vinyl promo items. I just need to decide on the colour scheme. What do you think of a white skirt with red writing sitting underneath this?

Petrie - just a FYI, the stock WRX wheels don't clear the 4-pots, although the stock MY00 wheels do - and I do believe you have a couple sets of those, don't you?

I take it the blue car gets the WRX wheels?

LaterZ!
Darren!!

Thanks Darren. I did know that about the stock wheels.
That's why the road wheels get changed before the 4 pots go on.

FYI: Blue car is being traded.

Owen decided that he would rather drive the new car especially as 1) it's red and 2) it will have the Prodrive stage 3 power pack.

Check the Factory Forced Induction forum (on this site). There's lots of information in the many pages there.

If you also check out the www.prodrive.com web site you will see some very encouraging dyno charts for what looks like a stage 2 kit fitted to a UK WRX. Not exactly the same because of all the variables (not just the crappy gas we get here).

I forgot the fire extinguisher (got that).
And the other things missing from the lists are...

1. SA Helmet (got that)
2. Fire proof driving suit, gloves and boots (got them).
3. Various decals (not got them)
4. License (not got that either)

If the entry list is low for PFR, I could compete.

Why don't you just go for a 04' STi instead? From your list, the mods you want should add up to more than the difference of a WRX and WRX STi.

Take a careful look at the lists and divided them into 2 other lists. Put all the stock STI parts in one list and everything else into the other one. Now make a list of stock STI parts that would have to get taken off the car.

+++ the transmission would be Group N hardened gears not stock road stuff.

Guess which is the cheaper option (by far).

Oh, and repaint it red

Oh, I'd love to see Jeff commit to a cage too I almost have a feeling that I'll have a roll bar on my road car before you have a cage Jeff. Now stop sitting on your hands and get to it
