Gonna take WAY more than a month. They were saying that he might be gone for the season. I don't know which shoulder he dislocated, but I haven't been the same since I dislocated my shoulder 8 years ago. The single most painful experience in my life.

edit: actually the actual dislocation wasn't that bad. I blacked out when they put it back in...

I'm the first yankee hater, but you are kidding yourself if you count them out. Firstly, if he had to get hurt, now is the time of year. Whether it is a month or three months, he will be back in time for the post season. That brings be the #2, with or without Jeter, the Yanks will be in the post season.

Orion: overrated? One word for you: rings.

As the T-shirts in Fenway say: "Jeter Sucks."

I *still* hate that guy for the play 2 years ago that prevented the A's from moving on in game 5 of the ALDS.

Go A's!!!

Jeter is overrated. I don't care what he has for rings...he's been on great teams, any shortstop could have filled his shoes, and the Yankees wouldn't have noticed.

He has average range, an average arm, hits for less than average, and had average power.

He's not very good.

I'll take Nomah any day.

Nomah and Miguel rule! Dear god I'd like to see the Sox make the playoffs... as long as they don't have to play the A's...

Last time that happened: 1988 ALCS, I was in Oakland for Game 4!! Poor Sox got swept, but it was to the A's so it was all good w/ me. Too bad it all ended w/ the World Series that included Gibson's gimpy-ass homerun... That guy single handedly ruined my childhood.
