in JC's thread she said we are def getting those other rims on the white STi's and I think i saw someone else said the same..

but in the new brochure doesnt it just say BBS for all?

im confused, and perplexed I'd appreciate any input

I personally like the rims on the blue STi more than the euro version.

I much prefer the split 5-spoke rims in the pic above... that looks like the USDM version with no side blinkers and reflectors in the headlight assembly. Hope we can at least get them as options.

We will not get the rims in that picture sorry we have to deal with lightweight forged, $800 apiece bbs rims, too bad.

I think they should offer the JDM split 5 spokes as winter wheels.

I actually made that suggestion (winter rims) indirectly to Subaru, I don't know how far it got.

I would even accept a package premounted with high perf snows.

I'd love to see something more affordable than what's available aftermarket for winter use, but I'd be afraid of the pricing on a winter tire/wheel package from Subaru. It's a good idea, though, for those of us that live somewhere with four seasons.

That would be the preferred way to go, otherwise the summer tires would have to be removed and replaced by the same size Blizzak tires each time the season rolls around.
Either way *we* are going to be no doubt plopping down about $1,300 the first year of ownership on tires.

JC told me the wheels on those were just some winter one they had lying around the shop, and not the ones that we are getting with it.

winter...yum...

The fact that the test cars have the JDM rims has been discussed since the Alaska spy shots, the fact that we are getting the BBS SPec C rims has been discussed since the first Subaru photo release....
