Yeah, I know there are some other shows that weekend, but May 3rd was the best we can do. The weekend before, a lot of clubs are holding their own meets. The weekend after is when finals begin and studying starts.

We are hoping those who dont make the trek to PA will stay down for this day meet. I'm sure plenty of NoVa ppl will prefer to come to this, rather than the longer Carlisle PA meet.

That is a small sample of the what I-Club and NASIOC brought in last year.

It was. I think this is about 1/3 of the total number of Subys that showed up. I think out of every club, the Subys did the best job of lining their cars up right...well..the Subys and the GTIs were both good at lining up.

We have a portable Dyno at the event as well, but it is not AWD (sorry guys). Its $50 for 2 runs if anyone is interested. To sign on for the dyno, please e-mail us at the site to reserve a spot. Otherwise it will be $65 for 2 runs. We also got a lot of dealerships coming down to show off their newest cars (Cap Hummer and Caddy, VW, Porshe, are more at in the talks). If you know any turning shops that is interested in coming down to set up a booth, please contact us at the website as well.

Default Finalized plans

This is the finalized direction and plan for the UMCP Carshow II on May 3rd from 1-6pm. The event will be held at parking lot 4B (Comcast Center parking lot). IF there are changes made to move to a larger lot, a sign will be posted in lot 4B to redirect you to the next biggest lot (400 ft away). On the way of the event, please park your car in one parking space only inorder to accomidate for the large influx of cars that are expected to attend. Since the event will be held on UMCP property, there will be no racing, burnouts, donuts and alchol consumption on UMCP property. Event organizers in yellow shirts will be present to assit you in any problem that you may encounter and also to ensure safety for all participants. There will also be a police officer present to make sure this event is safe and enjoyable for everyone. We the event staff personally know the officer, and nothing will happen to you as long as you obey our simples rules for saftey. As you may know, we will have a portable Dyno machine set up, so register ASAP if you still wish to enter for $50 for 2 pulls...other wise, it will be $65 at the event for 2 pulls. Signups can be registered on our forum at http://pub47.ezboard.com/fterrapinmotorsportsfrm8
Entry for the car show will be $5 per category. Please refer to our site for more information regarding the show. http://www.terrapinmotorsports.tk

I hope everyone attends and have a great time. There will be a few exotic surprises in store at the event, so you'll have to show up to see for yourself.

just a heads up. one of my close friends does a lot of hip hop dancing competitively, and he's gonna be down at college park for a dance competition from fri-sun. he told me that this means there'll be lots and lots of fine looking females on the campus.
