Default I agree..

Don't need to read further down..

But somehow from the pic the wheel looks small on the STI eh?

Do you think because of the angle of the photo? Or the hood scoop is a little bit too big?

I would have a whole lot of hate too considering for 2000 I could have a superior performance car. Stock for stock that is... I'd say the only thing that remains to be seen is the upgradability of our new sti both in terms of what the engine can handle and what the drivetain will tolerate.

With the EVO it's been done for years... and you know that if you have the cash 500hp is possible on a stock block...

So the EVO could very well have a better after market potential than the STI. Either way I believe the STI is going to hand the current lancer it's arse.

And the arguement that "oooh yeah well... umm the lancer next year will have 310or 330hp... " So what... then subaru will wait another ohh um 2 days and then come out with the 400hp wrx sti and destroy that too. They are also designing a new tranny to be able to hold that much power currently. Actually not them, but they are out-sourcing the tranny

I think it's such BS that there is this arguing between one car that is out and one that we don't even have all the details about.

I think it's amazing that we finally have amazing cars like the EVO or the STI even the WRX in the U.S.

Those douche bags doing most of the my car is better than yours are most likely 15 year olds who can't even drive yet.

Screw them....

Rant off...

sorry... If you want to start talkin crap about the car wait at least until the freakin car is out or even tested by the mags.

We should not counterbash EVO owners. Let me explain.

There are basically two types of EVO owners in this world.

Type A:
--Picked the EVO over the STi based on a subjective evaluation of handling, performance, price and other factors related to the way the car drives. The Key word here is "Subjective".
--These guys are good drivers and know how to exploit the handling potential of a car like the EVO or the STi. Their decision to pick the EVO has almost nothing to do with the car's looks.
--Type A is a real driving enthusiast and should under no circumstances be bashed by STi owners. Instead we should respect these guys.

Type B:
--Picked the EVO mainly because of looks, or some other factor that has nothing to do with the way these cars drive.
--This guy only knows how to go fast in a straight line. Will only be using the EVO to street race, drag race and attempt to pick up girls while cruising down the boulevard. The key word here is "ATTEMPT".
Generally has an IQ of about 75 (clinically classified as an "imbecile), and a social IQ of about 50 (socially classified as a moron)
There is no NEED to bash Type B (if you know what I mean).

Type A & Type B owners exist for all cars including the STi. Generally speaking, owners of true performance cars like the EVO and STi tend to be Type A. Obviously there are a few Type Bs lurking around otherwise we wouldn't have this thread...

There are only two types of people in this world:

Type 1: Those who divide people into two groups

Type 2: Those who don't.
