Default Our STi based on the JDM STi 8 Spec C?

Just came across a post from scoobynet where some guy was describing the difference between the Euro STi vs. Spec C and lot of the featrures for the Spec C we get on our STis. See and read for yourself:

Quote:
are there any other goodies that you have over UK/EURO spec?
The Spec C has

Twin scroll turbo
Ball bearing turbo
12 Litre Intercooler water spray with auto mode
Enlarged induction pipes
Different Inlet cam
Equal Length Manifold
Motorsport ECU
Additional engine & Gearbox oil cooler
Cross ratio 6MT
Driver's control centre diff (+Auto Switch)
Front LSD
Rear mechanical LSD
Super sports ABS with EBD
BBS alloy wheels
Special Bridgstone Tyres
Lightweight glass, doors, boot and roof
Hand Brake turn helper
Smoke type headlamp
Restlyed front bumper
Roof ventilator
Red illuminate Dials
New platform (Longer wheel base)
Different Sub frame offset

Our car also has the optional:

STI body kit
STI carbon fibre rear wing
STI guages

Except the turbo, motor(duh), hand brake thing, headlights, and the roof vent, I think we get almost all of it, including the 'New platform'. The roof vent is cool, wish that was available.

I believe the "handbrake turn helper" is part of the DCCD. We should get it unless they cut that feature.

I'd take that front lip too, and maybe the spoiler if I had a black STI...

Twin scroll turbo - no
Ball bearing turbo - yes
12 Litre Intercooler water spray with auto mode - smaller bottle (5l) no auto mode.
Enlarged induction pipes - no comment
Different Inlet cam - I assume ours is specific to the 2.5
Equal Length Manifold - no
Motorsport ECU - n/a
Additional engine & Gearbox oil cooler - the gearbox has a small pump but I don't think it has an external cooler
Cross ratio 6MT - we get the taller 5th and 6th, so no
Driver's control centre diff (+Auto Switch) - yes
Front LSD - yes
Rear mechanical LSD - yes
Super sports ABS with EBD - yes
BBS alloy wheels - yes
Special Bridgstone Tyres - yes
Lightweight glass, doors, boot and roof - glass yes, not sure about others
Hand Brake turn helper - not sure
Smoke type headlamp - see pics
Restlyed front bumper - looks same as JDM Sti
Roof ventilator - no
Red illuminate Dials - yes
New platform (Longer wheel base) - yes, but the benefit really is the increased caster
Different Sub frame offset - not sure on this but there are many small changes

I love that wing.
THe tail lights look a little different. It looks like the round parts stick out a bit further than the ones we get. Could just be the pic though.
