Default Your favorite place in BC?

Well, what is the most beautiful or scenic or just favorite place in BC and why???

Thus far mine would have to be Tofino.
Reason, spectacular views, awesome storms,
great whales, very romantic, not too busy....
natural!

Ah might as well, time for a break from the books anyway.

Seeing as how I haven't really travelled BC, I'll have to say Whistler. Lots of good memories there, including a certain shack.

I dun think there's a FAVORITE place for me in BC...

having traveled to Northern BC, the Islands, the Rockies... Okanagen... man... every part has its uniquness....

Northern BC is absolutely beautiful... the environment there are just so different then what we are used to see around here...

small hills and lakes everywhere... it's just beautiful...

and the Island... Yes Tofino and Ucluetes... the entire coast is just wonderful... Although the weather sucked cuz its on the coast.. hehe.. but if u catch it on a sunny day.. man... DROOL...

and the rockies... it's just magnificent.... words can't describe...

lol i'm babling on here... you get my point lol... no matter where u are in BC... it's just amazing...

On the Coast to Coast TSD last year, we came across some spectacular vistas between Ucluelet and the west coast of the Island. There are some fantastic logging roads up there.

Long Beach is also a favourite.

Hwy-1 drive from Vancouver to the interior. Towards kamloops it sort of feels like you're truely in the middle of nowhere and straight stretches of road. On the contrary hwy-3 feels like a canyon run.

Its really so hard to pick, B.C. is just so nice all the way around
but I would say the Garabaldi park area (black tusk, diamond head) in the winter or the summer . In the summer when the alpine meadows are in bloom is truly the best

The mountain pass between pemberton and Lilloet (or was it Lytton?) is pretty nice as well. There's actually a lake in the middle/summit of the mountain.

Ghostrider, good call on that road. (is that the one you get to by going through Sooke?). I used to drive up there with my GF on the weekends when I was in University. I love the drive and she loved the views. Lots of great places along the way too.

I quite like some of the secondary highways in/out of merritt. The 97c to Ashcroft is a neat drive by Highland Valley Copper. Hwy 8 to Spence's Bridge is quite nice along the Nicola river.

Duffy lake road, veryyy good call, its got it all, given the season.
I also recomend the road from Pemberton to D'arcy or Anderson lake, lotsa curves, and logging roads.
