Default Need Help with Coilovers

Morning all,

I will try to be brief: I am thinking of making the change from Prodrive Springs and stock struts to coilovers. I have taken care of the power I want out of the car (uppipe, exhaust, utec, etc) and now I am back to the handling issue.
I have a 2003 wagon and like most of us 95% of its life will be on the street. However I run auto-x and track/DE events. I am hoping to do about one track event every other month (going to run VIR full this weekend and have already run an auto-x this year) and assuming I am in town about every auto-x that comes through (about 8).
I do not know much about the brands of coilovers. I have been reading the posts about the top mount noises people have gotten from various Tein's and at all costs I would like to not experience such noise. I do not want to spend more than 1500 (and the way prices are dropping these days, i figure that is a reasonable number) and I would like something that is not too difficult to figure out (as I have noticed people trying to figure out what springs to buy for the JIC's to prevent bouncy/bumpy). Finally I would like to maintain my full dampening capability even when the car is lowered for events if possible.
Please post any positive or negative comments I would really appreciate or if you know of any really informative posts.

THANKS!!
