Novice TSD Workshop - April 8th & 12th

Sorry guys, I forgot to warn you of this workshop when the details came out. It's next week so pucker up.

WCRA are holding another of their very successful introductions to TSD rallying. This teaches you everything you need to know to compete on adventures like T-Bird.

The format is more condensed this year to save you time and money.

April 8 (Tues) 1900-2200. Information session. Langara College. Intro to club. Rallying in BC. TSD rallying in detail. Questions and Answers.

April 12 (Sat) 0900-1700. On road session. Chilliwack area. Experience a TSD rally. Lots of assistance on hand. NOTE: It is intended that participants attend both days as there will be no classroom on the Saturday.

There will NOT be a Novice Workshop Championship this year. In addition to the April workshop, there will be a similar session to take place in the Kamloops area later in the spring. Also, there will be a detailed Novice briefing at registration on each of the Regional TSD events (classroom only).

Because I did not post earlier, the early bird price is open to all people that register from the I-Club. Make sure you mention the I-Club when you register.

This is the only workshop in the Vancouver area this year. You can attend the Kamloops one but that's more travelling for most of you. These courses equip you with a thorough understanding of how to win at regional level straight away. It cuts out the first 2-3 years of painful experiences that people used to endure.

It's a lot of fun. Try it.

So, should I try to get a buddy to come along as co-driver? Or are there going to be extra people on the course that aren't partnered up?

You need to get a buddy organized before the event. Get in touch with John (@rallybc.com) to see if he knows of anyone who may be available.

Otherwise, post a request here, ask your friends at work or draft a family member.

If you have never tried, then this is the best way to get into the sport or at least meet some great people! Garunteed fun, and get to drive some really cool roads!
